Stop Hunger Among Community Kids

The UCF is proud to announce our latest project geared towards feeding local children free, hot meals.  We ask that you help us “Pack the Shack!”  No amount is too small.  $1 is enough to feed one child a hot meal.  We are looking for volunteers willing to share their hearts to hand out, prepare, and deliver meals.  You can sign up to volunteer here, and you can donate here!  We also ask for monetary donations to stock the truck set to start feeding local children this June!

Drop off locations are at Ball Toyota of Charleston, Eagle View Apartments in Charleston, Fusion Teriyaki Grille, Charleston Chiropractic Company, and Bar 101.

Special Thank yous!

We want to take a moment to thank Shawn Ball of Ball Toyota in Charleston.  Shawn donated $1,000 to the UCF and made several donations to other nonprofits in the community.  Leslie Brewer, a 31 Executive Director, sponsored several children, and she made over 100 gift bags for local children.  Thank you for going out of your way to make someone else feel cherished!  We also want to thank Toys For Tots for reaching out and donating a truckload of awesome toys for our local kids.  We want to thank the volunteers that will come to organize, wrap, and hand deliver these gifts to make sure our children know they are special.  Reach out for ways you can get involved!

Toys purchased with your kindness

These are the gifts purchased so far with the help of donations from you. These gifts will be wrapped and delivered by volunteers to underprivileged children with smiles. Thank you for being Santa Claus to children in need!  Please feel free to spread the word, because there are so many more children hoping Santa will pay them a visit this Christmas.
