Services
how we help
There is no shortage of ways when it comes to how you can help your community. We primarily serve children that have been victims of abuse and neglect, but we also cater to families to help them stay together.
School Suppy Drive
Each year, UCF participates in a school supply and backpack drive to make sure our local children have everything they need to start the new school year with confidence! Thanks to you we have had so much success and witnessed so many happy faces while picking out their favorite items for class!
Christmas Toy and Donation Drive
Each child should wake up on Christmas morning to something under the tree. People like you have reached out each year to sponsor children, donate toys, and donate money to let our local children know Santa remembered them even if it was a tough year.
Easter basket drive
People all over the state donate candies, baskets, and toys for Easter for our children, and our volunteers assemble and deliver with joy.
Teens
We purchase and deliver prom gear, graduation gowns, and homecoming clothes for the memorable moments of growing up.
Extras
Sometimes we forget things so readily available to us when we think of families in need such as:
- Beds, couches, and other furniture
- Kitchen supplies and appliances
- Work clothes
- Security deposits for utility services
Upcoming goals
We are always searching for more ways to expand our services to help as much as possible. Things we are working towards include:
- Providing therapy services in the home
- Food service trucks in the Kanawha area for children outside of school hours.
- Expanding services to foster children in all counties.
